Easter Socks

Last night I finished these:

Yarn: Mountain Colors Bearfoot, Colorway: Ruby River
Pattern: Widdershins, Generic Version


And promptly cast on this:

040807Scout_socks
Yarn: Sportweight Superwash/Nylon from Scout's Swag, Colorway: Cerrillos Mine
Pattern: Toe-up Sock using Sherman short rows

Oh I'm liking that so far! I bet it will do some crazy pooling though.....I hope not! Or that you like that.

How do you like the yarn so far? I haven't knit with that new one yet.

I tried Mountain Colors for the first time last summer...the color is just amazing!!! Did you get it in Portsmouth?

The ruby river is so subtle, or is it more vivid in person? Like the bold stripes of Scout's black and blue yarn!
