Very well done, doc! If it weren't for my love of popular science, I'd have probably flunked but I got by with a B minus. The physics questions got me.
Dang, I passionately loved science all through school but went into adult education. That does not change that I'm bitter about getting a C! I never got Cs in school!
And it was frustrating that I didn't get feedback and find out what I got wrong and what the right answer would be.
I still resent the fact that my stupid high school counselor advised my mother to put me through the "Earth Science" curriculum, which was the late-seventies way of saying "student has no aptitude for math and science." I loved math and science and hated English and history, but alas, I was ill-advised.
Despite all that, I got an A on the quiz. Even with all your science studies, I'm impressed at the breadth of your knowledge for this test.
I'm just relieved that I managed to get a 65% ... which they grade as a D. Although a 65% certainly isn't graded as a D in either of the post-secondary institutions where I've worked, it's also considerably higher than I scored in 8th grade science the first time I took it (thirtymumble years ago). Never finished it.

I was a poly sci major and got a B. My father -- who taught science for over 30 years -- would be appalled!
congratulations on such a nice score, Science Nerd!
I got an average score this time. I think I pulled a B last time I took this one...
And now we know why I don't teach 8th grade anymore. :(
You mean shameful, like my score? haha.
ye bum, I only got an A-! All those physics questions...I haven't thought about that stuff since 1980!
