A Lovely Weekend

We just got back from my grandmother's tonight after a fairly productive trip. We're getting some big things settled for the wedding next year. This is the Arts & Crafts era summer chapel where we'll be having the ceremony (That's David discussing details with Daphne, a friend who's on the board for the chapel):

And this is the view from the B & B where the wedding party will be staying:

Click to biggify. You'll be glad you did.

It was also productive on the knitting front. They're finished!

I'm still wearing them.

One of my favorite areas of the state! So pretty. And that chapel is the perfect spot for a wedding.

And those socks? Also perfect!!!! Nice job!

Well, I clicked, but it didn't really biggify....just took me to the Flick'r account where it seems to be the same size. No matter, I can see how beautiful it is anyway.

The chapel looks perfect, too. Great to see the plans taking shape...

You guys are throwin a stylin party! Lovely chapel. What fantabulous lodgings! Are you having wine? Do you like Bartlett's? Have you seen Andrea Immer Robinson's wine buying guides? They (one each year) are GREAT. We've found some very affordable and very tasty wines based on her recommends. My friend's wedding yesterday featured a three based on Andrea, and folks liked them well. Oh, and your feet, they are surely stylin too.

Gorgeous view! And love the wild socks! They look as if they're reverberating on my screen!

Great socks! What yarn did you use?

The view is indeed gorgeous, even though the size didn't increase that much! Congratulations, and best of luck for the wedding planning.

Nice, nice socks! I may be utterly hosed and up dyeing wool and reading blogs at almost 5am, but I can still recognize a good sock when I see it.

Was going to email you a comment but I can't find an addie on your blog.

What a great panoramic view!! Did you notice all those sailboats in the far bay? And what was with that circle of brightly coloured pup tents in the forest?

Oh, btw, cool socks!
