It Is Finished

I was really good. I went out and mowed and raked the lawn before I sat down to start reading in earnest. And then I managed to set it down for a few hours while we went out to dinner with Franklin, Sister Sue, and Brother-in-Law Phil and had a very nice time. Then I was just going to read a little bit longer before bed. The sun is just starting to come up, and I just finished it. Could. Not. Put. It. Down. And that's all I'm saying about that.

Say. Nothing. I am still under radio silence. No one is to speak of it. I will go all Slytherin on anyone who says anything.

It sounds like it is going to be more than worth the wait! Woot!

Glad you had a good time at dinner. More importantly, did you get to see the Christening Shawl???

I'm jealous -- you got to see Franklin? And Sister Sue? And BIL Phil? AND read Harry Potter??

Lucky you.

I finished yesterday - karma gave me the blessed treat of a toddler who took an extra long nap and woke up in a good mood. Holy cow. I'm kinda sad it's over now.

You were good and did something between readings. I wasn't so good. But then I finished it and got a good night's sleep. ;)

I am competing for reading time with my 11 year old and with my husband! I'm behind them, something like p. 80... I have another book that I'm very much enjoying ('The Historian'), but I want to get through HP7 before everybody starts talking about what happens!

Yeah, one of my workmates told me what part he was at in the book which is right when it starts getting gripping. I have advised him to take off from work early so that he isn't up all night.

That is the only thing I'm telling people. Give yourself time to read it.

I'm still trying to cling to my plan of reading all the other six again before I start book 7. We'll see if I can make that last. I can't seem to find my copy of book one anywhere.

I will gab about this soon, but the total cost is $15!!! For domain registration, hosting, ALL of it! That's maybe $3 more than I paid to get the livejournal account away from the free version (with ads). I'll put up the link to who is doing it when I post about it... But blogger seems to be working well for you.

OMG, you got to have dinner with Franklin ~and~ Sue?

Now I'm jealous. As hell.

As for the book, well, I haven't even read the first one yet, and some ass posted a spoiler in the comments on another blog I read so now I know how it ends. Is there a point to even starting now? (yes, I know. And I shall, when my daughter is slightly older).
