Because if some people's rights are up for popular vote, why shouldn't everybody's be?

I'm a fairly new reader delurking to say THANK YOU for linking to this. This is what I wrote when posting it on my Facebook wall:

"I couldn't have said it better myself. It doesn't escape my notice that *some* people feel my husband and I are an abomination... my GOD, a "Jew" and a Pagan Spic, married? Thank god we're not having little abomination kids, right? To me, equal rights are about equality, not equal rights for some, by some people's standards."

Thank you for helping to show how scary, and spiteful, this all is. I'm sure my Christian (and Facebook using) in-laws are going to LOVE this one. :P

So true!

Why do we let those morons determine what we can do or can't do in our life and with our bodies I wonder.

It is such a pity all those people realized how wrong this proposition is after it was passed and not before the election!

I hate this....I just don't get that people can't just accept that love is what matters.

My 'No on Prop 8' sticker isn't coming off til Prop 8 is overturned.
